    The SenseStack Base Device

One sealed unit beside the door. It reads the cabin, watches door events and shows a single readiness state your team can trust — indoors, outdoors, steam or spray.

SenseStack Base Device: circular sealed unit with brushed alloy face plate and cable gland
Base Device, face plate up — engraved SenseStack mark, sealed gland for the probe lead.
SenseStack Base Device surface-mounted on a timber sauna wall beside the door, with probe and door sensor cabling routed down the frame
Installed on a live Irish pilot site — surface-mounted on the cabin wall beside the door, cabling routed down to the frame.

    Installed in under 30 minutes

Two screws into the frame, the temperature probe inserted through an 8 mm hole drilled at head height inside the cabin, the door reed sensor mounted on the edge of the door frame, and a low-voltage power lead. Nothing is spliced into your heater, controller or plumbing — so nothing about your warranty or certification changes.

    • Surface mount, no cabinet cut-outs
    • Probe inserted through an 8 mm hole at head height, reading what guests feel
    • Door reed sensor fixed to the door frame with silicone and screws if needed
    • Founder-installed on every Irish pilot site

    What it does

    Probe-accurate readings

The sealed high-temperature probe is inserted through an 8 mm drilled hole at head height in the cabin, so readiness reflects the temperature guests actually experience on the bench.

    Readiness at a glance

The circular face shows one state: Heating, Ready, Recovering or Attention. Staff read it from across the deck.

    Resilient connectivity

Wi-Fi with on-device buffering. If the link drops, readings queue locally and sync when it returns.

    Battery fallback

Short power interruptions don't create data gaps or false offline alarms.

    Simple install

Surface-mounted beside the door, with the door reed sensor fixed to the edge of the door frame using silicone and screws where needed. No heater rewiring, no plumbing.

    Built for the environment

Rated for steam, splash, cold plunge spray and outdoor Irish weather.
